QUANNU VENI L'ACQUA? /
WHEN WATER WILL ARRIVE?
a documentary by ROSSELLA SCHILLACI (DVCAM 8' - 2003)
In a small village in the hinterland of Sicily, water is scarce and rationed. Sergio is the “waterman” and everyday he opens and closes taps in different areas of the village. But in the summer of 2003 the water does not arrive, people from days don’t know why and that do. "When water will arrive?" is the question that everybody was asking to each other, even before saying “good morning” at the beginning of the day.
The obsolete pipes and looses made the situation worse. But after 8 days, near the Festival of Saint Calogero, the water finally arrives
